Summer Reading Program

Pierre Berton Resource Library Summer Reading Program:
Go Wild!
Every Wednesday from 2pm to 8pm visit the Pierre Berton Resource Library to engage in new activities for families to enjoy.  Children can explore the “Make It” kits and can sign up for the Summer Reading Club while they are visiting. The Summer Reading Club is a free reading program and runs all summer long.

There are several other free programs being offered for all students in Kindergarten to Grade 8 at all our local public libraries.  Students at Pine Grove recently received information about the services and programs being offered this summer.  Please visit www.vaughanpl.info or call 905-653-7323 ext. 4314 for more information about all programs and services.S

BYOB Picnic

What a great turnout at the BYOB picnic this year!  We hope you all enjoyed the activities and games that were offered this year.  A big thank goes out to the Community Outreach committee - Mary, Jennifer, Debora, and Angela who all organized the  event as well as to the Student Council members who helped to run the activities.  A special note of appreciation needs to also be mentioned to the anonymous person who arranged the Caricature artist for us and to Ms. Fischer who was the acting liaison between the committee and student council.

On behalf of School Council we wish everyone a happy and safe summer!
